Nifty sector rotation
Nifty sector rotation compares automobiles, banks, IT, FMCG, pharma, metal, energy, realty, infrastructure, and consumption with the NIFTY 50.
Nifty sector rotation on Rotate uses Indian sector indexes against the NIFTY 50. The default groups are automobiles, banks, FMCG, IT, pharma, metal, energy, realty, infrastructure, and consumption. Strength 100 is the NIFTY 50. The subtitle on the chart says so directly.
Bank Nifty is both a sector in that list and an optional benchmark. If you set the benchmark to Nifty Bank, every other group is measured against banks rather than against the NIFTY 50. That is a different question, and it is available in the benchmark box inside Tune.
Specific stocks use the NSE ticker you would recognize, with the company name in the suggestions. Typing "Reliance" or "RELIANCE" finds Reliance Industries. Typing "TCS" finds Tata Consultancy Services. The chart still needs a benchmark. Leave it on NIFTY 50 unless you mean to compare the stocks with something else.
Weekly bars are the default because that is the series this calculation was built on. Daily bars use the same Kaufman lengths on daily closes, so the momentum window is three days rather than three weeks. Monthly bars use a longer window so the average has enough points. The details are on how this RRG is calculated.
A sector sitting in leading has been stronger than the NIFTY 50 and that strength is still rising. It can reverse next week. Use the tail and the play button before you treat one dot as a regime.
